I have neighbors and friends who support Trump. I can't definitively call them racists because I haven't heard them use negative stereotypes in describing minorities. I get the appeal of Trump, who speaks his mind and is not beholden to special interests.

I have friends who are members of BLM. Some are racists and some are not. Racism is not beholden to any one movement or race. It's a plague that can get anyone.

Call me naive, but I'd like to think most Americans, both black and white, are not inherently racist.
