I believe that it was a normal set of secondary violations that all programs go through self reporting to the NCAA. In an effort to change the narrative, this normal process was characterized as an NCAA investigation and considerable effort was made to direct blame to the parties no longer here and be preventative of making a suitable replacement hire.

Everything to date still supports that to be the case.
