Then, didn't he rephrase his comment in a more positive light a few days later? It would be awkward for the AD to later hire a guy he dissed a few days earlier.

Do you think Alden's hands were tied because of the NCAA letter related to his wise choice of Haith as a HC? Are you saying he dug himself that hole?
