Finishing in the upper 3rd of your conference and earning a decent NCAA seed is what constitutes a successful season at MU. In this particular scenario, 24 wins is likely the baseline needed to accomplish that.

Being among the top 100 programs is not a successful season at MU, it should be very difficult to not accomplish that if you have a reasonable level of competence.
