VanLeer was the smartest player on the court last year. He knew the offense better than anybody. His ball movement was fantastic....and you can tell he is a very good passer. He wasn't asked to drive to the basket most of the time.

His shooting was off at times due to poor passing of other players or passing the ball too late. Especially with ball hogs like Isabell, who was an awful passer when he did attempt to pass the ball.

A lot of people sucked on defense last year.
