Despite the fact there could be good arguments for the 'good feelings' produced by Mizzou football and basketball supersede the wrestling situation, almost every week in college football season brings fun opponents, it's 'simply' not as fun to play nobodies, which would happen in a non P5 conference.
You lack vision and wisdom. All of the schools you mentioned would jump at the chance to be in P5, especially with the way things are headed. There's soon to be literally no chance for a team like Boise to play in the CFB playoffs.
