STL recruiting connections, which he obviously couldn't capitalize on. He wasn't much of a tactician or scout. He was hired to recruit. I think it's reasonable to say that his recruiting ability was hampered by the state of the program, but it still has wasn't really working out for either side.

I think he has a good future under Ford. I'd have made the move, too, if I were him.
