Spring 1988: Named McDonald's All American

Spring 1990: Named first-team All-Big 8, third-team All-American

Spring 1992: Named Big 8 Player of the Year, first-team All-American

Peeler and Jones were not comparable players, and their treatment shouldn't have been, either. You don't make compromises for role players deep on the bench who have major issues.
