In December 1988, Peeler was placed on disciplinary probation at Missouri for academic dishonesty, after submitting somebody else's test; he was tested every day for alcohol and once a week for drugs, after an in-patient rehab experience failed;
In January 1989, Peeler was assigned a chaperone at Missouri, who had difficulty locating the player for classes;
In January 1989, Peeler was accused of striking a man, Patrick Welch, outside the fieldhouse;
In April 1989, Peeler was dismissed from the University of Missouri team because of three positive tests for marijuana;
In Oct. 1989, he was caught driving on a suspended license;
In September 1990, a director of a Missouri tutoring program asked an instructor to change Peeler's failing grade. The grade wasn't changed and Peeler was declared ineligible.
In October 1991, another woman reported to Columbia police that Peeler jumped her and choked her in a parking lot after seeing her with another man;
In June 1992, Peeler pled guilty to concealing a weapon and to misdemeanors that he caused injury by biting and restraining a woman unlawfully
