If Devine or Faurot took over after Larry Smith at GP's age and the resources GP enjoyed, they might've won a few Conf. championships and perhaps a NC or two. Almost impossible to know. Kinda' like arguing Babe Ruth would be bashing a record amount of HRs now against a helluva' lot better pitching.
