I went to Cougar High. they call it that for a reason. A state university a lot like UMKC a commuter school. As Houston business climate grew it grew, Money pumped into Cullen School of business and the law school. We joined the SWC in 1972 won the conference championship more then any school until it broke up. Averaging around 15 k a game. They now play on campus ( not the best area)still does not draw a crowd. Most of the Alumni are either Yankees, foreigners or UT and A&M fans. Texas, Baylor, and A&M already have the TV's
