My expectations, assuming we are good

are that Barnett is our best player, Giest leads us in scoring, and that Jackson is SEC ready to contribute meaningfully by conference play. I don't know if those are entirely unrealistic, but I like to at least be optimistic before the season starts. Both of the statements I pasted above from someone who personally watched practices makes it sound unlikely for Barnett and Jackson, or at least less likely than before I read those comments.

Of course there is news in that chat, its the first time we have gotten first hand observations from practice. Unless I've missed them, there haven't been any other reports or comments.
