Actually Schkade started 30 games in 2014 (about half the games played). Appeared in 46 games total. And hit .227 for the year. Her contributions were not remarkable. Her primary reason for leaving was her desire to play again with her sister who was at Illinois. They both transferred to North Texas so they could end their college careers playing together and be closer to home.
Her first year there, she started every game and hit .250, with 3 Hrs.
She exploded in 2016, started every game, hit .393, with 13 HRs and 42 RBI. Was first team all conference in Conference USA. Things turned out pretty good for her.
