read 176 pages of grand jury testimony from the Epstein

Florida case today b/c i was bored.
it's interesting b/c i think in all but one instance the 19yr old girl who recruited the other girls for $200 a pop told them to lie and say they were 18. one however did testify that she told Epstein she was 17 and testified that she and Epstein had intercourse the day before her 18th birthday
when they met Epstein's assistant Sarah Kellen she also would ask them how old they were and they lied again.
of course under Florida law (Florida Statutes 794.021), ignorance of a person’s age can not be used as a legal defense against a statutory sex crime. It does not matter if the underage person appeared to be especially ‘mature’ for their age. Likewise, it does not matter if the underage person misrepresented their age. Ignorance of age can never be used to defend a sex crime in Florida.
not to say he shouldn't have known b/c some of these girls were 15 and in one instance when the girl acting like a madam brought a 23 yr old she was told she was too old.
btw some of these girls went to Epstein's close to a hundred times. at least one received a free rental car that she used for several years.
also of note was that the detective said that many of the girls were feeding Epstein info on the investigation when it was on-going and a few said they wouldn't testify against him b/c they liked him. one said she didn't want to testify against him b/c of just wanting to put it behind her.
all of it's pretty gross. There's a Yugoslavian named Nadia Marcinko that Epstein claimed was his sex slave that participated in a lot of the sexual activity. And often she and Epstein would just have sex in front of the girls hired to do the "massage". The assistant, Sarah, was also knee deep in this and should have known as should have the house security guy etc. How those two escaped prosecution is beyond me.
Sarah Kellen agreed to provide information for immunity but i don't know why that was offered to her. interestingly enough she ended up marrying Nascar driver Brian Vickers. They were married 10 yrs but just divorced this year.
