When did I say they can't do something? This is about publicly funding officers at private institutions. To expect that to happen isn't realistic and isn't what's happening. You can cite an example here or there, but you're unable to say if they're publicly funded or not. If they were publicly funded, every private school would have SROs and they do not. The ones that do fund that themselves.
