2) this isn't a right vs left issue
3) the National Guard's mission is to serve at times of crisis like floods, civil disturbances like a mass FULL-SCALE RIOT, and serve if the nation were under attack. Normal citizens and former military can be in the guard. When they're called up, their lives are disrupted. Their businesses can be disrupted. They are not called up capriciously. The vast majority of them would be untrained in law-enforcement.
4) law-enforcement mission is to protect and serve and enforce laws. These people are extensively trained in law-enforcement. They are explicitly trained in de-escalating situations. They are professional law-enforcement personnel. The National Guard is not.
5) when you start claiming there's a crisis when the local citizens are adamant that there's not and you send in the National Guard and then eventually arm them, you are crossing boundaries. This isn't about law-enforcement anymore, sane people wants less crime, this is about creating your own Police state.
6) if you're unable to realize this, then you should just be quiet, realize you are a brain dead dweeb, who is just susceptible to whatever the leader, the fuehrer wants. With that realization, it'd be a good idea, and a boost to society,if you threw yourself off a cliff
