then it is wrong and needs to be fixed.

If police are writing more speeding tickets to drivers of red cars then the police must be doing something wrong. It couldn't possibly be that the personality types that are more attracted to red cars are also more likely to speed or that red is a much more popular color for sports cars than for family trucksters.
