One of the comments on the link was the statement that a candidate or official understands that climate change is a fact. And I get the impression that many on the Right here contend that such an understanding is "far left".

Please note that I use the verb "understand" vs "believe" b/c climate change and the impact of human activity on our environment is not a belief system.
