degrees on individual decisions, but I think it is more complex than that. I don't think that they're the primary factors in some of his abrupt about faces.
In re: Ukraine, I tend to doubt the grand scale economic key chess piece role that Ukraine holds on the world stage. I have no doubt that the rare earth metals are very valuable, but are they worth gambling hundreds of billions of $$, tens of billions of euros, and hundreds of thousands of lives on a gamble with seemingly very low odds of winning, but a not insignificant risk of escalating into a nuclear war?
Does estimated value of the payoff to Trump exceed the costs of even the alienation of a significant part of his MAGA base that is needed for him to achiene whatever goals he still has for the rest of his term?
