Yes, the schedule lines up favorably for Mizzou this year. It hasn't in the past and won't in the future. But what's more important is that Klatt also goes on to talk about Missouri as a program under Drink and details the consistent recruiting and portal successes as another reason why the Tigers could make it to the playoffs. So many lazy, disinterested analysts will focus solely on the games/names on paper and not give credit to a program for putting themselves in a position to actually win those games, which is ultimately never easy (BTW, "easy" should never appear in articles/headlines regarding SEC predictions...just ask Alabama after the Vanderbilt game last year).
I could be confusing my analysts, but I seem to recall Klatt not being in Mizzou's corner much in the past, so I think this is a fair take.
