It's been my experience that nothing ever goes as planned when trying to predict a team's success or failure. I would lower my expectations as this team will need time to build rhythm and chemistry, keep the injuries at a minimum and hope the ball bounces your way. The schedule looks easy, but certainly will not be. Don't dismiss KU as an easy win, they will be better than expected. That said, the defense will need to be very good to carry this offense through the first half of the season. My prediction is....

7-8 wins on the season.
