I should have clarified or reread it. It's my understanding, main payments wwre/ are handled by what is now the revenue sharing fund..or the donation pool before. Either way, or whatever they call it going forward post settlement. That fund will still rely on donations to said specific fund, and that capital will be spent and directed by head coach/GM Drink. An add on NIL deal, would give donors a direct say..as in Cook and Burden.. that will be handled in a clearinghouse going forward. My main point, is the coach still has final say. As Drink has been known to say, you recruit your own problems. He knows what he wants, and what he doesn't. If a guy is talented but head case or an attitude problem...he's not coming...kinda worse..is the state/ local kid who they don't feel can play in the SEC, and somebody wanting them on the team. That is his roster, for better or worse, and he needs the autonomy to run his program, his way.
