They do have a say directly and indirectly.

phrejd stated donors don't have the time to pick players. Not true. Many of the biggest donors are retired. They made their money and in old age have picked up having a say at Mizzou as something to do. I know some. They may look up the top recruits in the state and tell Drink they will write a check to get said player. It happens all the time.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
