the alumni have more money. Its about how important a game is to those boosters. I'd say big money in Missouri cares a great deal less about football than big money in some other locations. The money in Missouri might go toward a new building or academic endeavors. It seems Missouri leans more toward that than some other states.
Harvard? I don't ever see them going all in. Its probably too low brow for those people. Ivy league schools don't need football to drive up attendance and I would think they wouldn't want it. They already have people begging to get into school.
