ball if that. He looks like a future star but he was rushed.

Keith Hernandez stuck full time in MLB at age 22 but he started in pro ball at 18 and was up and down between MLB and AAA at age 21.

Asking a lot to put a guy up against MLB pitching at that age without the minor league seasoning. The toughest skill in all of pro sports is hitting major league pitching.
