there was a great ice cream stand, Doc's Soft Serve that was located right at the edge of a western section of the community back when Delray Beach was a quiet and quaint little place of 40,000 that everyone referred to openly as N-Town. One did not pause of shrink in shame a stating it.

I was lucky to live in Delray Beach those years. My school. St Vincents, was across the street from the Intercoastal waterway with the drawbridge right there, about a five minute bike ride from the Atlantic. As Joni used to sing "you don't know what you got till it's gone".
