And yet, they said the dwfecit would increase greatly under the budgets passed in Trump's first term, and they were correct. Hes first term had one of the highest increases in debt. Biden also had a healthy increase, slightly less in real dollars than Trump. This budget will only add to the problem, not reduce it. The defecit hawks in the GOP gave in to pressure. No one in either party really cares about reducing debt, only about getting re-elected.
