My nephew is hellishly good at welding. My brother's best friend got him a shot at a pipefitter's job and he turned it down.

Neighbor finished college and went to work for Evergy as a lineman. Living at home banking his money driving his dad's old pickup and drawing 6 figures. All the OT he wants with storm outages. Once he becomes a journeyman, the money goes up from there. And then he's eligible to go out of town for storm restoration.
