we always hear about good qb's being able to "throw their guys open" by reading the defense and anticipating the WR's breaks and delivering the ball on time, and i don't think we saw much of that happening the last few years. i can't think of a time when cook threw the ball before burden (or wease or anyone else for that matter) made their break. i don't know if that's on burden for not running crisp routes, if it's on cook for not hitting him in time, on moore for not running an offense that really asks either of them to do it, or a combination of all of the above.
