I can't remember a more unpredictable draft day outcome for a "generational" Mizzou player. One that passed on Alabama and Georgia high NIL offers to stay home with Mizzou. Burden went from being a expected Top 10 pick this year to now possibly as low as mid second round.
There's every possible attack on Luther's character, training habits, route running, family pressures, etc.
Then on the flip side there's bashers of Mizzou's offensive playcalling and QB play, who strongly believe Luther will thrive in the NFL once "escaping" Mizzou.
Personally I believe with the right coaching staff, the clutch, highlight reel Burden plays- 4th quarter vs South Carolina, Florida- can become standard Luther play every game.
No matter what you think of Burden, if he drops to the the second round, every SEC coach will use him as a "cautionary tale" to top talent to recruit against Mizzou.
