This is true of a lot of players, and most don't get what your asking for. Blaine Gabbert had 6 different head coaches the first 6 years of his career. Hard to figure how that could happen but it did, he had no chance to develop into what he might become.
The NFL is a tough business, if you are not ready to be a grown up teams will quickly move on. You get a little more time the earlier you are picked but you don't get a second chance if you're not ready to do the work or are waiting for someone to 'give you a chance' beyond your initial contract. I wish Luther well but some of the behaviors and choices he's made don't bode well for him IMO. Hopefully he makes the most of it.
