Any Royals fan will tell you Erceg is the best arm in their bullpen and has been utilized as a fireman type of relieve because of it. Zerpa has pitched in 6 games this year and blown 2 saves and allowed 5 inherited runnings to score and since coming back from his TJ a couple of years ago has been no better than average. He had issues with inherited runners scoring last year. He's a guy you bring in to begin an inning, not bring in when runners are on.
