pay a guy millions to lead your team. IMO too many baseball managers are so afraid to go out on a limb that they only manage by the book. They are useless in my opinion.

I would much rather hear a manager say that he pitched someone because their ball had extra movement in warmups or he seemed to be seeing the ball really well in the cage, even if it turned out to be the wrong move.

If every move is based on analytics, then they should replace you with Ted from IT and save a few million per year.
