developing players as Freshman. NIL and the Portal has pretty much killed that for him.

Another reason why this NIL and Portal has been, and will be horrible for their program with Self as the coach.

He can't simply pay bags of money from Addidas to the best Freshman in the country and then develop them for 4 years.

I don't think he is good enough to coach with a new roster every year. He even said it himself it was like game 24, and he was said something like "well I think we have found our starting 5 and rotations." It took him that long, and it turned out he didn't find it.
