Your blame is misplaced here, as always.
The problem is that *DRF* racialized the hiring process through her extensive DEI initiatives. Read the mission statement of this NGO she co-chairs:

It was her stated mission to give racial preference to "minority coaches". Then she hired a sub-.500 coach who happens to be black.

The irony of you claiming to be color-blind is that most of the modern Left considers that to be racist "white privilege." They argue that white people (like yourself, presumably) *must* see color in order to acknowledge racial disparities and what they perceive as "systemic racism". In reality, the pendulum has swung so far the other way that the only institutional racism remaining in our society is the kind that gets unqualified people like Kerrick Jackson hired.
