Alden's career. He had developed a reputation for mis-managing coaches from Quinn to Anderson. That reputation spread and was why Alden and Link were left wandering around begging for interviews. Secondly, he refused to make any distinction between previous offenses when considering coaches. That is why we don't have coaches like Pearl or Sampson. Alden's mismanagement over decades cost us.
