what he does with what he's got (given decent recruting) and not on where the team ends up in some poll or conf. competition.
My point is that (IMO) DG did not take advantage of his talent, sometimes far from it. And even things that were working they stopped doing mostly. One example was aggressive drives to the basket (in spite of many missed layups, another issue). Another example is passes to a cutter to the basket, which had been working but largely abandoned. Even worse, I don't see DG improving much for the future.
