ended with a thud for me. Fortunately, there have been a handful of Mizzou football seasons that ended satisfactorily, although in my 55 years, I've not seen one NC game featuring Mizzou. But some nice Bowl wins and top 5 finishes. Generally, MLB has ended poorly, although I've been fortunate to have witnessed (4) WS appearances by the Royals, with (2) wins, culminating with the greatest WS win scenario ever, beating STL. And of course, I've been alive for (4) Super Bowl championships and I anticipate by the time Mahomes retires, KC will have the most SB wins ever. So even though we've had some SB losses, my NFL experience at the end of each season is positive, mostly.

Or I can be like you and the fan bois and falsely pretend that I love Mizzou so much I'm fine with whatever outcome because I'd hate to be a "bad fan" and be critical of our mostly mediocre athletic department.
