solely in the President and the President only, as the Supreme Court just recently made clear in their immunity decision.
Your thread gives all power of the executive to an unelected arm within the judiciary.
Clearly that isn't the case. The district courts have no authority to enact unelected policy from the bench.
And checks n balances - btw - means ALL THREE branches have the same amount of power.
Trump can tell the courts to pound sound and there isn't a thing they can do, because that would be the Executive Office checking the Judicial overreach.
Congress could step in, but would never have the votes to remove through impeachment... so the judicial is just **** out of luck at that point.
At no time in the history of the country have the courts decided to try and steal the power of another branch.
So we are dealing with a constitutional crisis that has never been crossed.
