some hedge fund geniuese over the past few years, as well as some local bankers, and both have said the same thing, which gies back to Covid...non-performing mortgages have been sky high, but Fannie/Freddie in conjunction with the biden admin have been channeling the paper to the big national investors rathr than making them available to local buyers. Could be another big scandal, could be part of their "management" responsibilities? I think some pol/group will make a stink. I wonder what Fauxcahontas has to say.
