You can look at how highly rated players are that a team gets and draw conclusions. Kansas had a portal class that was very highly rated.
Storr was ranked 5th
Mayo was 23
Griffin was 37

2 of those 3 aren’t producing. They have the ability to pay top NIL, but you still have to pay the right players.

I saw some similar criticism nationally of Mizzou in Gates second season. Spending the NIL they had on the wrong players.
