I attended all 5 Mary Nutter games. The pitching problem is not fixable this year. They are overpitching McCann and there is a danger they will ruin her arm for the rest of her time here. I have seen this happen with multiple other pitchers including multiple All Americans. Two of our home run hitters are very discouraged and in mental slumps. They may or may not come out of this. Our defense and fielding ability are not remotely close to UCLA. So far UCLA has beat every SEC and Big 12 team they have faced. I hope our errors and bonehead plays decrease with more experience.

I have had season tickets since 2009. I have seen excellent and marginal Mizzou teams. This years team is in the latter category. They are reminding me of the 2017 and 2018 teams. I don't see us finishing above the lower third of the SEC. Maybe we can finish above Kentucky and South Carolina. I hope I am wrong but that is what I see after 10 games.
