Were older. In fact, to be clear, he said he wouldn't consider it until his kids were older. Also..since he retired, coaching D1 college football has become 24/7 all year round. Due to the transfer portal,and the hs recruiting cycle. As a potential NFL coach, he would have some structure and way more free time. Plus, he played, lived, and won a Super Bowl in NO. Also..just coaching professional QBs..not kids. I could see him, taking a flier in this unique opportunity.
