My biggest worry when we joined the SEC, was if we could do what was necessary to seriously compete for conference titles (if not national championships).
For some reason, greatness seems to elude us. We can come close to it, but that's about all. Some of us would like to see us achieve greatness and think we can or will do it eventually, while others think we'll have only rare occasions when we come close but can't get beyond that.
At some point, you'd think we'd get lucky and win some sort of title or championship. I just wonder why it hasn't happened. But that just puts us in the same boat as many other schools. I don't know if it will ever happen for us in the SEC. I hope I'm wrong.
