What makes them "one of the weakest teams with 3 or fewer losses in the regular season"?

Are they weaker than the Detroit Lions that didn't even make it to the Championship game? That's just this year. Do you know how many teams have had 3 or fewer losses and didn't even sniff the Super Bowl?

And why aren't great defensive stands part of what makes them a great team? Why is that a negative?
