Don't believe everything you hear on MSNBC. Those are legitimate business expenses. Every corporation deducts legitimate business expenses, both from taxable income and on their GAAP financial statements. If they pay a lower rate (and I'm not agreeing that they do), it is because they have a higher rate of expenses to revenues. This isn't rocket science here.
