Manage situation by having way too many players on his roster. Sometimes he can do a good job managing that difficult situation and sometimes he doesn’t. But it’s difficult to manage either way.

Players don’t have ineffective games independently. It’s either due to matchup issues, playing time and role, or their health. Saying “well player X doesn’t have it today so I’ll go with someone else” isn’t a real thing.
