Nights game, a lot of his rotation struggles kind of rose back up and 13 guys got minutes.

At this point not sure foul trouble for Robinson should matter. We have 3 other totally capable backup options so if he fouls out oh well. Doesn’t do us any good sitting him on the bench protecting against his 5th that never came.

15 minutes is way too little for Pierce in a game like that. We needed his length, rebounding, and ability to pull bigs away from protecting the rim. He was arguably the most crucial piece and he barely played in the second half. Marshall looked effective in his customary 1 minute as well.

I don’t understand why our final minutes lineup includes Barrett, Allen, Shaw. It’s strange to only insert those guys in crucial closing minutes and resulted in some really weird lineup combinations in the final stretch.

Good game overall, that is a very good opponent and a tough environment. I think they hit a number of big outside shots you likely shouldn’t expect them to make. Bates missing the front end of 2 one and ones and Mitchell really struggling to get any good looks from the field really did us in, and our struggles to contain Ziegler with Robinson on the bench. That is a tough team and we were right there.
