I’ll say it one more time. It’s about how you played, not about who you played.
Whether or not you meet the expectations does not depend on the strength of opponent. The expectation is already set based on your history and their history.
You don’t get more “points” for beating Duke. You get “points” for exceeding expectations, no matter who you played. You lose “points” for failing to meet expectations, no matter who you played.
SOS does not matter.
