Your schedule doesn’t determine whether you’re #1 or #365.

The only thing that matters in Kenpom and similar ratings is how well you play against whatever schedule you have.

They are efficiency ratings, not who did you play ratings. How efficient were you against the teams you did play?

That’s their whole purpose - to be able to directly compare teams that play different schedules.
